require assistance in all aspects of my daily life, personally and
professionally. I am an outgoing male with a physical disability
progressing my career in the media industry.
While this position is a personal assistant role it offers an
attractive opportunity for potential candidates to work in an
interesting and varied environment outside the traditional parameters
of the personal healthcare assistant field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assistance with personal care needs to include showering, dressing,
meal prep, etc.
* Assistance with all aspects of daily life ? supporting me to
live independently.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Assistance with professional work ? Computer Skills desirable
* Be able to respond to new circumstances, if, and when required
* Ability to take direction.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Minimum FETEC QQI Level 5 in Health/Social Care or equivalent
* An understanding of the philosophy of Independent Living
